Sketched unplugged

I sketched this image with a strong idea in mind. After executing it however people took it many different ways. I love that, I love different interpretations of my work. It is so fun for me to hear. My original intention was just to show being unplugged from the business of life. To take a second, without the noise, without the movement, just be still, in silence with yourself. Sometimes if i’m going through something hard, I just unplug from everything else in life and listen to my inner voice.

Sketchy Drawings

I usually always sketch before I shoot.

I can’t draw.

I’m pretty bad at it but it’s the only way I know how to write down my ideas, not words but the way I see it. My sketchbooks are filled with little thumbnails, sketchy drawings of ideas.  I thought skecth flo could be a place to get a glimpse into the initial idea of the image, compared with the final image and see how I ended up doing it.
