So while skimming the streets in New Orleans, Royal St. in the french quarter has so much amazing art. Anyway, it was night and I took this pic of this photo I LOVE!! If anyone knows the artists name PLEASE let me know, I can’t find out who did it.

Beautiful softness in this photo. I want it on my wall.

Music is a big inspiration for me.

I especially have a love for songs with acoustic guitar. I did this picture while inspired by one and thought i’d make a  list of songs I love that have inspired me and may inspire you too! Click on the link to watch and listen on youtube.

Thee…Sally Mann

When I discovered this woman’s work I was in shock of the beauty! It gave me a new perspective on my own photography and the things close to me in my life. Her lifestyle and view on life is so honest and real, the intricate beauty of being human.

These are a few of my favorite pieces. For more click here – Sally Mann

Sam Taylor-Wood is…. Brilliant.

I LOVE THESE IMAGES SO MUCH. Such a brilliant series!!!! They give me crazy feelings of freedom with no possibility of impossibility… the softness of her floating… and all the space surrounding her…. Beautiful Beauty in it’s simplest form.

Here is one more picture from a different series of his.
I really love this mans work. truly….

Focus on Love.

This picture is one of the reasons I love photojournalism.  This has such a POWERFUL commentary. Focus on the love… not on the war.

This image is from a riot in Vancouver following the brutal defeat of the Canucks in the Stanley Cup.  (no offense… but it’s hockey.. come on people… let’s allow sport games to bring us peace and happiness!!)

Gwyneth Paltrow

I found this image on Gwenyth Paltrow’s blog and I love it. It’s perfection to me. I don’t know what it is but I love the feel to it. It feels so natural and beautiful.
Almost Candid.
This brings me back again to my want to capture candid beauty… not always so set up.
