Where on the map…. do I want to go?
I have a big map on my wall with pins that I have put on places i’ve been and places i’d love to go. I just keep adding them… but at some point i’m going to have to chose between all those pins… roll up my map and pack it for my next destination…
or JOURNEY I should say.
What an exciting choice to have.
(Here is a random shot I did of pins on my map… you should put up your own map and pins… it’s so inspiring + fun!)

Mumford and Sons is one of my favorite bands.
I have some beautiful memories and thoughts attached to their songs, some having nothing to do with the actual songs themselves but they re-spark the feelings I once had.
One of my most peaceful moments to date, was walking along the Ocean in Florida, beach empty, Mumford and Sons on my ipod, low volume so I could still hear the waves and feel the sand between my toes and the ocean rolling at my feet. mmmm.
I love these versions of the songs, Bookshop Sessions.
Here are a few pictures of me shooting some Banksy pieces in New Orleans. The hunt to find all of them in the city was so cool.. we ran into a few other people on the hunt to find all his pieces too. They were done after Hurricane Katrina when a lot of the city was evacuated. Stopped in a graveyard for a few shots too as well as shot the craziest wedding i’ve ever heard of.
Enjoy. I sure did.
My 2 little nephews being in my life has taught me more about LOVE than I could have ever comprehended before them. Here is a piece I did of me and Darius at night on the beach, later overlayed with a long road. This lil 4 year old stayed still with me for a 40 sec exposure…. looking up at me with the biggest smile i’ve ever seen.
When I discovered this woman’s work I was in shock of the beauty! It gave me a new perspective on my own photography and the things close to me in my life. Her lifestyle and view on life is so honest and real, the intricate beauty of being human.

I LOVE THESE IMAGES SO MUCH. Such a brilliant series!!!! They give me crazy feelings of freedom with no possibility of impossibility… the softness of her floating… and all the space surrounding her…. Beautiful Beauty in it’s simplest form.
This picture is one of the reasons I love photojournalism. This has such a POWERFUL commentary. Focus on the love… not on the war.
This image is from a riot in Vancouver following the brutal defeat of the Canucks in the Stanley Cup. (no offense… but it’s hockey.. come on people… let’s allow sport games to bring us peace and happiness!!)
